- The size of the bungalow is approx. 60m2 and has two bedrooms. Each bedroom is about 24m2 with an air conditioner and a private bathroom. The porch is a big open space with amazing views of the forest and has plenty of natural light. The bungalow and most furniture are beautifully made of coconut wood. You may rent only a bedroom or the whole bungalow.- Few steps away from a restaurant, 2-minute walk to our private beach, and an only 15-minute drive to/from Tambolaka Airport (daily flight from major airlines: Sriwijaya or NAM Air and Lion or Wings Air. Sumba is only an hour flight from Bali)- The bungalow and the beach are surrounded by private forest that is home to fabulous, and mostly rare, Sumba birds including short-toed snake-eagle, various species of Sumba owls and many others. I can recommend a local guide if you wish to do birdwatching in our location. Definitely no smoking or fire near the forest. We love our forest and its habitat and appreciate if you have mutual feeling to the environment- The bungalow is located near our family-owned hotel so you can enjoy the facility from the hotel such as the restaurant and the laundry. Plus, you get free breakfast from us! Staff from the hotel are all locals and very friendly. Some can speak English.- Rental car and local tour guide are available for a fee. - This place has a decent cellphone and internet data reception and internet access, so our bungalow is ideal for those who want to escape the city and the internet while still getting a comfortable sleep. If you love nature, this is the place.- This is a private bungalow used by my family when they visit the hotel. While we are away, the rooms are yours. If you wish to stay at our hotel, the reservation is done separately.
